"Our recent trip to Vermont was our first, and certainly won't be our last!! The Inn at Rutland was an excellent choice. This grand old Victorian is lovingly preserved and maintained by Steven and Leslie, our most gracious hosts. They were so very friendly and hospitable, along with offering information and suggestions about what to do and see. The food was wonderful and our stay in the Rutland Room was so very comfortable. And the chocolate chip cookies are excellent! Our many memories of a very special trip were made even better. Do stay at this lovely inn ... you will be glad you did!!"

"This renovated, three-story Victorian mansion is a delightful alternative to Rutland's chain motels. The ornate oak staircase lined with heavy embossed gold and leather wainscoting leads to rooms that blend modern bathrooms with late-19th-century touches such as elaborate ceiling moldings and frosted glass. The two large common rooms, one with a fireplace, have views of surrounding mountains and valleys."

"Your hospitality was impeccable and Leslie, your cooking was out of this world. I will definitely recommend your Inn to everyone I know who plans to visit Vermont."

"The innkeepers here were so friendly, welcoming and helpful that it was a wonderful stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the downstairs with fireplace is inviting and food was delicious! However, it was the innkeepers who were the best part. They recommended a wonderful place for dinner and even called ahead and made us reservations! Go stay there! Right near Killington for skiers."

"You made our 10th Anniversary a special one. Your place is beautiful and you made it warm and cozy. Thanks for a wonderful memory."
