Activities/Attractions: Perched above the Columbia River, the picturesque town of Cathlamet is along the southwest border of Washington State.
Cathlamet is nestled in a gentle slope with an evergreen backdrop of forested hills. The population of the town is about 550, making it the larger of the two towns in this isolated county. The neighboring community is Skamokawa, 10 miles to the west.
The Bradley House is centrally located. Portland is an hour to the South East, Astoria an hour to the West, Mt. St Helens is an hour to North East and Seattle is only two and a half hours to the North. There are a variety of local things for our active guests to do such as:

- great salmon
and sturgeon fishing
- canoeing
- wind surfing
- antiqueing
- shopping
- museums
For those who enjoy walking we are the starting point for the 2005 Volkswalk. There are the peaceful roads of Puget Island to explore, and a road through the wild life refuge which leads to a beautiful beach just minutes away.
Bicycle and kayak rentals are available. Perhaps you'd just like to read a book or play a game in one of our parlors. We have an 1800's piano to tinker on or just relax and watch cable TV in the privacy of your room. Video rental is available next door.
General Information: Welcome to Bradley House Inn Bed and Breakfast of Cathlamet, Washington and escape to yesteryear. Built in 1907 as a gracious home of a lumber baron, this elegant home sits on a knoll overlooking the historic town of Cathlamet, Puget Island and the mighty Columbia River. Though our B&B is elegant and our rooms are beautifully decorated, what is most important to us is our guests comfort. We are not upper scale or pretentious. We consider ourselves elegantly casual. Red Room - Crimson red with shades of blue set the mood for

Cathlamet Room - Romantic and comfortable, this room is decorated
in antique rose. Fabulous view overlooking the Columbia River, the
town of Cathlamet and Puget Island. Queen Bed and Private Bath.
- The
Columbia Room - Enjoy the wonderful view of the River and Marina
as you relax in this large, beautifully decorated room in hues of plum
and beige. Honeymooners delight! King Bed and Private Bath.
- The
Garden Room - Relax and unwind in this spacious room, with quilts
and wallpaper by designer Laura Ashley. Overlooking the lush garden
and woods. Antique Iron Queen Bed and Single Day Bed. Shared bath.
The Bradley house provides a glimpse of time gone by. Sit on our porch and watch the huge ships pass by or the Eagles and Osprey soar overhead. Our sunsets are breathtaking. Relax over an espresso or make reservations for a High tea.
