Activities/Attractions: Inn the Woods" is one mile from the center of Hyde Park, NY, in historic Dutchess County, snuggled in the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley, minutes from the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Home and Library, Valkill, Vanderbilt Mansion and the Culinary Institute of America.

Rhinebeck, well known as a center for antiques, arts, crafts and fine dining, is only a 15-minute drive. There are two antique centers within five minutes.

Hiking, biking, roller skating, golfing, movies drive-in movies and cross-country skiing can all be found nearby.

"Inn the Woods" is a convenient location when visiting the area colleges: Bard, CIA, Marist and Vassar.

General Information:  Welcome to Inn the Woods Bed & Breakfast in Hyde Park, New York ... where restfulness awaits you. We are centrally located for Antiques, The Culinary Institute of America, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Home, Museum & Presidential Library, Eleanor Roosevelt’s Val-Kill Home, Vanderbilt Mansion and the "Great Estates" Region.

Inn the Woods Bed and Breakfast is spacious, contemporary and in a peaceful wooded setting. It is a place to relax at. In our "Music Room" you can find a piano to play. In cold months you can warm yourself by the fireplace and watch snowfall through floor to ceiling windows. Rock your cares away on the deck or swing in the hammock under the trees. For ultimate relaxation just slip into the Outdoor Spa.

• Tree Top Suite is an expansive 25 x 20 ft. area, the entire second story of the Inn. The suite provides you with two full size canopy beds, private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, cable TV with HBO, VCR, kitchenette, sitting/dining areas and a private entrance with balcony that looks out into the woods.
  
• Cliffside Room views a natural rock ledge and massive oak trees through wall-sized windows. The 15 x 12 ft. room has a luxurious king size brass bed and private bathroom with shower. Decorated with oriental keepsakes and soft blue tones. It is air-conditioned and has cable TV with HBO.
  
• Woodview Room is a cheery 11 x 12 ft. room with a pair of twin beds, having white washed walls and nautical prints for a "Nantucket" feel. It has air conditioning and cable TV with HBO. This room shares the hall bathroom.
