General Information: Mountain View Lodge in Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia is built in colonial style including shower, toilet, air conditioning, telephone, king-size beds, TV and balcony. There is a swimming pool waiting for you in beautiful garden surroundings. In our garden you can see all sorts of tropical plants and fruits, like the miracle fruit, brasil cherries, all sorts of citrus fruit, mulberry, cacao trees and coffee trees etc.

No real Aussie house is complete without a barbie (for all non-Australians: that's a grill). If you want us to organize your barbie (that's the grilling activity too) please let us know and we'll take care of that. Of course you can "G.Y.O." - Grill Your Own. From a lot of requests we know, that a lot of guest (even smokers) also like a room without the "tobacco smell". There's plenty of room on the balcony to enjoy your smoke.

Our luxury bungalow catches totally relaxed the noises of nature at night. In the evening - especially by full moon and a glass of wine - it is an experience not to be missed. It is now available with:
