Pat and Bill, the innkeepers, were friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. The Inn is immaculate and is tastefully decorated in a Victorian style ... Bill and Pat provided us with sound recommendations of restaurants along with a coupon for one of their recommendations. The stay at the Palmer House Inn surpassed our expectations. We are already planning to go back next year!" "We stayed at the Palmer House Inn for three nights and were extremely impressed with the Inn-- including the hospitable innkeepers and the great location. The rooms and the common areas were meticulously cared for and white-glove clean. The breakfasts were superb. I would highly recommend." "My husband and I just returned from a weekend at the Palmer House, had room A in the separate carriage house-gorgeous room! Turn down service with Lindt chocolates, jacuzzi tub, neat as a pin, every amenity you can think of in the room including a corkscrew! Excellent breakfast and great hosts ... They are fantastic hosts and are not intrusive. Walking distance to downtown, ate at Quarterdeck, Nimrod, great music at Nimrod and Laim Mcguires. We will stay here again!" "From the minute we arrived, we felt very welcome. The breakfasts are such a delicious treat." |

The inn has good character, and the innkeepers (Bill and Pat) were very friendly and had excellent recommendations for things to do (and wine to drink!). The rooms were very well decorated and stylish. The fireplace in the room was perfect. The price was comparable with other B&B's but the value was worth it. I'm going back this winter. And I'll definitely get one of the jacuzzi rooms next time!" "My husband and I have stayed here several times while visiting family on Cape Cod. Each room was beautifully decorated, with very comfortable beds, and the parlor was a handsome place to relax after a long day. I really like that it is walking distance to the center of town. You can have a fancy dinner or just hang out at the pub and you don't have to worry about driving." "We discovered The Palmer House when our original hotel did not meet our expectations. Bill and Pat were wonderful hosts. The room was beautiful and the bed one of the most comfortable I've slept in. They accommodated our need for an early breakfast with an excellent array of food. Our vacation went from bust to magnificent due to The Palmer House." "You have thought of everything - can't imagine anything that could be improved upon." "Thank you for a wonderful opportunity to chat with new people at breakfast. What a warm and welcoming place this is." "It was a very enjoyable weekend. We especially enjoyed sitting in the parlor in the evenings with our glass of wine in front of the fireplace." "We loved the rocking chairs on the porch - great place to relax." |
