Activities/Attractions: Falcon's Lair Resort is 1 hour south-west of North Bay. North Bay has the home of the Dionne Quints and the Chief Commanda cruise. Sudbury is 1½ hours north-west and is home of the Big Nickel and Science North. Both locations offer the very best in shopping facilities.
Around Port Loring Ontario is a string of small and enchanting communities; Bear Valley, Golden Valley, Arnstein, and Loring. Together they share with the visitor a warm sense of community and an image of true country charm.
Falcon's Lair Resort is located on Jack's Lake and has 35 miles of picturesque shoreline for your boating or fishing enjoyment. Jack's Lake contains a variety of fish - Bass, Catfish, Crappies, Pan Fish, Pickerel (Walleye), and Pike.
Bring your own boat, rent a boat & motor, or fish from one of our many docks located around the resort. Fishing Licenses, worms, boat & motor rentals, gas and oil are sold at the lodge.

General Information: Welcome to Falcon's Lair Resort in Northern Ontario ... a small, family resort with 5 modern two and three bedroom cottages. A mile off the beaten path, right on the lake, you will enjoy the tranquil setting of our fully equipped, spotlessly clean cottages and grounds. With nature at your doorstep you will see and hear many birds including the haunting call of the loon, and you could see chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, partridge, deer, and on occasion moose or bear. But only 15 minutes away, you will find all the conveniences of town.
Come and enjoy a home away from home in our 5 spotlessly clean 2 or 3 bedroom cottages. Each cottage is located on or within very close proximity to the lake, but far enough away from each other to ensure your privacy. For a spectacular view and privacy, our secluded "honeymoon" cottage (#5) is very popular. All Cottages offer:
- 3-piece bathroom: shower, flush toilets, hot and cold
running water but towels not supplied
- Kitchen: full size frost free fridge, electric stove,
microwave, coffee maker (filters provided), electric
kettle, toaster, pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes,
cutlery, dish soap but dish cloth and towels not
supplied
- Living room: fully carpeted, furnished, color TV,
radio
- Bedrooms: dresser, bed(s) with mattress pads, pillows,
pillow protectors, blankets, comforters but bed sheets and
pillow cases not supplied
- Screened-in porch: beautiful view, table, chairs
- Outside: picnic table, propane BBQ with utensils
- We are pleased to welcome your well behaved and
