We comfortably fit in one of the family rooms, which was clean and comfortable. The farm was quiet and very beautiful. The family and staff were very nice and accommodating." "We booked three nights at Limoneto and we were happy all the time. Upon booking they gave us excellent directions to get there, and when we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the owners. We found friendly people, a very nice place, great value, a "Piccolo paradiso". We wish we could stay longer." "Just wanted to say thank you for your warm hospitality in Italy. We had a good time and hope to visit Italy again soon." |
"We had a good stay at Limoneto - despite the loss of the Dutch soccer team. Thank you very much. Warm regards from rainy Netherlands." "If you are looking for a peaceful place, not too far from the action in Siracusa and Ortigia, try the Limoneto. Adelina and her husband are very kind, knowledgeable people. He even helped me with my Italian. This was a very memorable time during our trip and I would recommend it highly. When we return to Sicily, we will return to the Limoneto." |

It is located about a 10 minute drive from the heart of Siracusa so it is a great base to explore the city. It is set on a citrus grove with amazing fragrances. The rooms are clean and comfortable but ask them for an electric mosquito repellent - it works wonders. The dinners are truly amazing. Adelina is an amazing cook and it seems like many locals know of her cooking and come for dinner creating a lively atmosphere. Two of my favorite dishes were her rabbit and her pizza - both very traditional Sicilian." "Il Limoneto is a delight, one of several "agriturismo" in Sicily, basically a B&B on a farm. In this case the farm is a lemon grove, and it is situated conveniently near one of Sicily's best cities to visit for its excellent archaeological museum, good restaurants, and Greek ruins. The rooms at Il Limoneto are spacious and fine, the hosts gracious, and the communal dining experience, often al fresco, charming." |
