• Tennis - With over 200 tennis courts on the island, Hilton Head is the perfect place to get out and play tennis
  
• Golf - While staying at Yellow Dogs by the Sea or Halcyon Days you will have plenty of courses nearby to work on your golf game. The island has a variety of public courses ideal for all types of golfers
  
• Horseback - There are a handful of stables on the island. Just over the bridge there is a stable that offers horseback riding, pony rentals, and riding lessons
  
• Boating - Hilton Head Island has many Marinas both on its shores and interior. Launch facilities as well as watercraft rentals are available
  
• Nature Preserves - There are a number of wildlife preserves in the area including: Newhall Audubon Preserve, Whooping Crane Conservatory, Sea Pines Forest Preserve and Pinckney Island National Wildlife Preserve

General Information: Welcome to "Halcyon Days" ... located on one of the largest Oceanfront lots in North Forest Beach, on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. "Halcyon Days" is a brand new eight bedroom, eight and a half bathroom Oceanfront dream home built to the highest of standards with interiors by "Yellowdog Design". This home is in a category of luxury unto itself on Hilton Head Island.

Halcyon will provide you with the location, amenities and facilities for the holiday of a lifetime. Whether you want a private luxurious retreat for an intimate gathering or a large substantial house for a family reunion you will be neither overwhelmed nor cramped such is the flexibility built into the design of this wonderful home.

• The gourmet chef's kitchen will delight any chef, the sink has a picture window looking out to the beach. The center island is topped with granite and has seating for 6 to 8. The kitchen is complimented with a double door refrigerator and Bosch dishwasher
  
• Right outside the kitchen door on the deck which leads down to the pool is an outside grill
  
• A unique feature for a rental home is the full butlers pantry/kitchen 2 room which offers a second refrigerator, many storage cupboards, travertine counter preparation areas as well as a European style under the counter washer and dryer
  
• A pair of double doors from the hall open to a king bedroom suite with a private bathroom. The beautiful bed, and large walk in closet create a private haven
  
• At the rear of the house, there is another very large King Suite with beautiful four poster bed, sitting area, spa bath and shower
  
• The largest master bedroom suite has absolutely stunning ocean views. The bed and Southern Living style Armoire, sofa, coffee table and armchairs makes this room irresistible
  
• The bathroom has expansive ocean views and luxurious marble and mirror encased finishing with two vanities, a walk in closet, a spa tub and separate marble shower
  
• Also on this level are three more Bedroom suites, each with private bathrooms
  
• One bedroom, offers a walk in closet, bathroom with a granite counter & 2 vanities and a separate stone shower. It also has a private deck looking out over the gardens and has views to the ocean
  
• Another bedroom also offers a walk in closet and bath with twin pedestal sinks and shower
  
• The fourth bedroom on this floor has a gorgeous armoire housing a TV with DVD player
  
• We also have a second large, stackable washer and dryer just for that floor
