Telephone: 509-684-6878 Activities/Attractions: Colville is considered Northeast Washington's year-round vacation destination ... snuggled in the mountains, it's a sportsman's and photographer's paradise with lakes, forests, and wildlife. The Colville Farmers Market happens on Wednesdays between the hours of noon to 6:00 p.m. from May through October, and on Fridays between noon and 6:00 p.m. from July through August. The Colville National Forest encompasses over a million acres in the northeast corner of the state. The primary mountain ranges - the Okanogan, Kettle River and Selkirks - run north/south and are separated by forested river valleys. The major rivers follow jagged paths carved by ice age glaciers. The first Native Americans began hunting, fishing, and gathering in the area about 9,000 years ago. The Colville is still a forest that is full of deer, elk, moose and where wild berries hang thick on the bushes. Our home is on 20 acres of partially open, partially wooded foothills. You are welcome to ski, snowshoe, or stroll the grounds as your own. We have visiting wildlife - deer, wild turkeys, snowshoe hares, and a variety of birds. We have occasionally spotted pileated woodpeckers and bear, and we frequently hear coyotes at night. When the snow melts, you are welcome to build a fire in the campfire pit or climb onto the top deck of your bungalow and enjoy the view or the night sky. You are always welcome to use the hot tub.
