Travelling through Dandaragan highlights the diverse farming of the area, ranging from wildflower farming, to a winery estate and many other forms of alternative agriculture. The scenic drive also presents many opportunities to view historic buildings amidst a majestic landscape, permanently flowing creeks and a mass of white cockatoos (Corellas). Dandaragan is a diverse agricultural base community that include the traditional farming of sheep, cattle and cropping, and the current farming of wildflowers, forestry, yabbies, wine and olives. General Information: Welcome to the Redgum Village in Dandaragan, Western Australia, 2 hours north of Perth. It's with great pride we open our facility to you and any one who wants accommodation or function facilities here in Dandaragan. You will enjoy our reasonably priced lodgings with good clean facilities and home cooked meals. We have had a great variety of guests stay with us, even our traveling police force pops in now and again to enjoy the comfort and convenience of our facilities. Evan and Gaylene Bradshaw not only own and run the Redgum Village, we actually built Redgum Village too. Dandaragan really does have a lot to offer for those that are seeking seasonal work or entering the mining industry. With the Ti-west joint venture mineral sands mine just down the road from the Redgum Village and a huge expansion into olives with it's new processing plant and the Paulownia tree farm close by, not to mention traditional farming and the 2 Huge new stone fruit farms and other horticulture projects, there is no shortage of sightseeing or employment opportunities here in Dandaragan.
