"We stayed 3 nights at the hotel, which is a gem in Venice. The location is great close to the main attractions of Venice and also to the bus and train station. Alberto the owner is very helpful and speaks very good English. You really get what you expect for a very reasonable price. I do recommend this accommodation."

"Alberto, who runs the B&B along with his wife, was very nice. The rooms are very nice and looked fairly new. The bathroom was bigger than other hotels I stayed at in Rome. A bottle of wine awaited us in the fridge, which was a very nice touch. Overall, my husband and I were very happy with our stay at this B&B and would not hesitate to stay here again."

"I stayed in Casanova Ai Tolentini in Venice for two nights in September and would definitely recommend it. The Guesthouse is close to the train station and right beside Piazza Roma where the bus for the airport leaves from. It is not far to walk to the main attractions during the day but nice to be away from them at night. There are lots of little restaurants close by. The room was lovely, big and clean. I would stay there again if I ever go back to Venice and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends."

"This B&B was wonderful with a very friendly owner. The room was very clean, and well appointed. He had left us a little bottle of sparkling wine as an arrival present! The bed was lovely, the ensuite was great, and the view over the canal was picturesque. It's situated v. near the square that the buses from the airport go to so one can walk to it from there with no problems. Good price, would definitely recommend you consider it!"

"The owner is a friendly and helpful man - he runs the cafe 2 doors down where you eat your breakfast overlooking the canal. The accommodation is clean and well looked after. It is easy and safe to get walk around at night - lots of beautiful squares where you can stop for coffee or wine if you become tired, and as it's so close to the station, a water bus is easy to find and use if you become tired. A big thumbs up from me."

"My 14year old daughter and I spent a wonderful week at the Casanova Ai Tolentini in Venice. Its location is very convenient, close to the bus and train stations, a 20 minutes walk to the main sights of Venice and - what we liked best - situated in Dorsoduro, the best part of town, quiet but also very lively and picturesque with lots of restaurants, cafés, bars, little shops. We liked our room very much, spacious, clean, Sky TV and a well functioning heating/air condition system. The breakfast, being served in a restaurant 20 metres across the pretty canal in front of the building, was sufficient and varied. Alberto, the owner, the maids and everyone at the breakfast place were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Alberto speaks fluent English, French and Spanish. You see him every morning at breakfast and you can always call his cell phone. He is very approachable and flexible.
We will come back!"

"We just stayed 2 nights here and loved it! The room was very clean, beautiful, affordable and conveniently located near the water boats to get to the sights and bus station where we were dropped off by the airport bus. Alberto, the owner, is a very nice host who not only met us when we arrived to welcome us, but also gave us tips about the area and shopping or whatever else we needed. Breakfast was at the cafe next door and is a nice Italian breakfast with croissant, Nutella, jams, bread, cereal, juice, coffee and cheese. My husband and I are used to eating this for our breakfasts so it was perfect for us. Overall it was a fantastic stay and i would definitely book here again next time we go to Venice!"

"We were in a suite that overlooked the canals and the small bridge. The view from our window was what I expected Venice to be. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was large and comfortable. Nightly chocolates on our pillows were a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was also spacious (by European standards) and the towel warmer was a nice touch. Although we had another small room, we never used it. I'd definitely recommend Casanova Ai Tolentini looking for a moderately priced hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the St. Marks area."
