Mashpee Commons Town Center boasts a wide range of national retailers and local "mom-and-pop" merchants. The architectural style for the project is traditional Cape Cod. The “Continental Breakfast” was more then enough. I also like the binder that’s in the room filled with places of interest and restaurants. If you can’t find what you are looking for in the binder Barbara and Steve are more then happy to make recommendations/or suggestions. The area is beautiful! You follow a well marked path through the woods to the beach giving you this panoramic view of Ashumet Pond. The Pond is fantastic! Did some sailing with Steve and Kayaking while at the B&B. The last day at the house I took a walk around the bird sanctuary. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Cape Cod and staying at the Alexander Hamilton House." |

We booked our trip last minute - it is very hard to find a nice place on the cape that was high end and would allow my cat and didn't have minimum stays. The innkeeper, Barbara and her husband (and friendly dog) were very helpful and pleasant. The Suite had private access and was above their garage in their beautiful home (everything seemed brand new and perfectly fresh and clean) Though not really a bed-breakfast, some breakfast snacks were conveniently provided in a little fridge - fruit, granola, yogurt, toasts, croissants, coffee, tea, biscuits etc. and there was even a microwave and toaster. Right on the property was a beautiful fresh water lake and they had kayaks and a canoe (plus life jackets) and outdoor furniture for our use. Really, really nice. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this place. I had forgotten my sweater in the room, and Barbara even sent it to my home right away!" |
