The farm is located in a panoramic position on a hilltop (altitude 240 m.) about one kilometer outside the medieval centre of the village of Palaia. The village has an interesting historical heritage, including the magnificent Romanesque Church of St. Martino (12th. century), entirely built in Tuscan cotto brick. We would like to draw your attention to some of the interesting places and things you can find not far away from our accommodation:

• in the plain of Peccioli (km 10) airfield for light aircraft
  
• Castelfalfi (km 15) with its castle and the wonderful golf and tennis courts
  
• Montefoscoli (km 7) with its suggestive museum of the rural life
  
• Casciana Terme (km 22) with its thermal pools and health treatments
  
• S. Vivaldo (km 23) with its cloister (that can be visited) in the middle of a dense forest
  
• Peccioli (km 12) with its historical centre and the prehistoric museum

General Information: Welcome to La Palazzina in Palaia, Tuscany, Italy ... the historic name of this long established farm estate; once extending over a vast area and occupying today roughly six hectares, mostly cultivated with olive and fruit trees. The particular atmosphere of our very comfortable and intimate two-room apartments, the vast green areas surrounding us, the quietness of the place make Palazzina the ideal arrival point for couples and small families who are looking for a place where they can relax.

Palazzina lies about 1 km from the centre of the historical city of Palaia. It is situated on the top of a hill (240 m above sea level) from which you can enjoy a superb 360°- panorama on the surrounding hills. The owners welcome their guests in ten two-room apartments furnished wit great care and realised in the style of the ancient Tuscan rural tradition. From here all the major historical cities (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and so on) and the coast can be reached in less than one hour drive. Each apartment has its own:
