Activities/Attractions: Dorney Lake is a purpose built rowing lake, where the canoeing and rowing events at the 2012 Summer Olympics are to be held, located in the small village of Dorney, near the towns of Windsor and Eton.
Maidenhead, Bray, Cookham, Bourne End and Henley are within half an hour's drive or less and Beaconsfield and Oxford are within easy reach by car. If you plan to visit London we recommend you take the train from Slough station to Paddington where the underground trains or buses will take you directly to the centre in less than an hour. We recommend a car for the duration of your stay.

families (Legoland is a 15 minute drive away) - Dorney Court is a five
minute drive
- The historic centres of Eton and
Windsor, divided by the Thames, can be easily reached, either by a
pleasant stroll along the Thames Path or by car in about ten minutes
- There is a large Sainsbury
Superstore within 10 minutes' drive which is on your way if you come
via the M4

General Information: Welcome to our Dorney Self Catering Apartments, a 3 Star Establishment, providing quality accommodation in a unique location. Wisteria, Gardener's Bothy and The Smithy apartments are set in the grounds of a Tudor house in a rural, peaceful location in the village of Dorney near Windsor, England in the county of Berkshire. The River Thames and Boveney Lock are a short stroll away and Windsor and Eton are less than three miles from Dorney.
Each of our apartments can accommodate singles, couples or a family, and when combined they can be block-booked by groups of up to 16 people (some on sofa beds).
Gardener's
Bothy is a first floor barn conversion with two bedrooms - the
second is very cosy but small, with a window. There is a single bed in it,
but we can fit in two when children want to sleep in there.
Wisteria
is a newly refurbished ground floor apartment with one double bedroom with
twin beds and a fitted wardrobe. There is a living/dining room, open plan
kitchen and bathroom with WC, basin and shower.
The
Smithy is a ground floor double aspect apartment with two
single beds, separate WC and shower room. The kitchenette includes a
two-ring hob/oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. There is also a
dining table and chairs. The Smithy can sleep up to four when the two
sofa/chairs are also used.

heating and electricity are included in the booking price
- There is a flat screen TV and DVD
player in each apartment
- There is plenty of secure parking
close to the apartments, within the grounds
- There is a large lawn for guests'
use
- The washing machines and tumble
dryer in the lobby of Gardener's Bothy can be used at most times by
prior arrangement
- A barbecue is available, plus a
garden table and chairs
- Travel cot and extra linen are
available on request
- Internet access is available by
prior arrangement, usually in the afternoons
- Wi-Fi also available at no extra
