"The Black Horse is a rebuilt pub/restaurant with a separate development of bungalow rooms a short walk away. They were well appointed and modern, very clean with good amenities for this class of hotel. The restaurant was excellent, in fact it is as well to book in advance as it is extremely popular. Every thing is cooked to order and as they say themselves it is not a fast food place. The staff were friendly and efficient."

We are a homely and welcoming Inn adorned with hops and beams with an open log fireplace to welcome you in winter. Our chefs pride themselves on using the best local & home-grown produce to give you an exciting range of mouth-watering English and Continental dishes.

A separate annex built in 2004 & 2006 houses 11 beautiful en-suite bed and breakfast rooms. Choose from a range of beautiful bedrooms and look forward to a lovely breakfast, choosing from cereal, fresh fruit and the full English breakfast! "We stayed at The Black Horse In for 4 nights. It was very clean and comfortable, even after long days of touring the countryside. They have live music every Wednesday night, but we didn't hear a note of it in our rooms. Jon, the owner, and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful in finding great places to tour. They provided good directions and knew of some "off the beaten path places" to go. The food was delicious. We ate all of our breakfasts and dinners at the Inn and were very happy we did. Jon was there for breakfast every day and made sure we had exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed our stay so much, that when we return to Kent, we will look forward to our stay at The Black Horse Inn."
