a week could be spent cruising around this picturesque island of the
Caribbean. The expansive, winding coastline is where today's visitors
encounter a tremendous wealth of secluded, powdery soft beaches. The coral
reefs attract snorkelers and scuba divers from all over the world.
Both Antigua and Barbuda are almost completely surrounded by well
preserved coral reefs, walls, and shipwrecks. Surrounding shelves provide
excellent conditions for spectacular shallow diving and snorkelling. There
is little or no current in most places, and the water temperature averages
about 80 F (25 C). Underwater visibility ranges from 50 to 140 feet, and
tropical marine plants and animals are diverse and plentiful.
Arca Villa is located in the south coast of Antigua, on a hillside in about 1 acre of land with tropical plants and fruit trees, overlooking Falmouth Harbour and English Harbour, the main starting point of Antigua classic and sailing week regattas that attract sailors from all over the world. It must be seen the historic Nelson’s Dockyard, the naval base of Admiral Nelson, perfectly preserved .
In five minutes driving it is possible to reach wonderful beaches with crystal-clear water, the stable for horse riding, tennis courts, restaurants, supermarket and marinas where leaving for sail or fishing.
General Information: Welcome to Arca Villa in Falmouth Harbour, Antigua ... a spacious, luxury villa for rent which can accommodate up to twelve people. Built on a hillside to catch the trade-winds breezes so that air conditioning is not necessary, it is in a quiet location, with wonderful view over Falmouth Harbour, surrounded by many tropical trees.
Antigua (pronounced An-tee'ga) and Barbuda are located in the middle of the Leeward Islands in the Eastern Caribbean, roughly 17 degrees north of the equator. The coasts of Antigua are ideal for yacht cruising and racing, with constant trade winds and many harbours for exploration. The Villa features:
