Activities/Attractions: CocoCabañas is situated on the 22km long federally protected beach called Playa de Los Cocos (Coconut Beach). The beach is open ocean, with tremendous blue, green, and turquoise waves that sometimes reach up to a staggering 15 ft in height.  Playa de los Cocos is a natural habitat for endangered sea turtles that come ashore and lay eggs (generally in the fall and winter months).

CocoCabañas books adventures of all kinds, from mild to strenuous, up active volcanoes or down many feet under the ocean. The limits are virtually boundless, including fishing, surfing, golf and horseback riding.

Cococabanas is the genuine thing: a compact village of just five cabanas, restaurant-bar and small swimming pool powered by a state of the art solar energy system, its own well and artificial purification reed bed right on the beach. We went with the hope of just relaxing and reading in exotic climes, a break from the damp Thames Valley in England. We got a lot more: miles of uninterrupted beaches to walk, whales to watch, the sound of rolling and crashing waves in our ears and a sense of being part of an expansive countryside. Our host Jeff (the eco-entrepreneur whose vision it was) and his assistant Steve could not have been more helpful and friendly, creating a relaxed, informal atmosphere to complete the holiday experience with the help of good-natured staff Chayo and Arnoldo. General Information: Welcome to CocoCabañas Beachside Inn in Coconut Beach, Mexico ... the ultimate experience in tranquil beach hut living! CocoCabañas sits along a relatively quiet stretch of beach outside of town ... incredibly relaxing, as you will hear virtually no noise from traffic or of any other kind except of course for the ocean. Each cabaña, which can accommodate four persons comfortably, is a two-story thatch roof structure, built with woven wood and adobe walls. As a result of the climate and their intelligent design, the cabañas remain cool, fresh and comfortable year round. Room and Inn features include:

"The Coco Cabanas in Isla Navidad was amazing. We ate at the restaurant twice as it was right down the road from where we were staying. They also have 4 private cabanas that accommodate 4 people per cabana. It has to be one of the coolest places I have ever seen. The staff treat you like family and the atmosphere is truely relaxing. I recommend this place highly!"
